Jesse 56 is a sentient artificial intelligence created by his ‘father’ Jesse Prime (a human). Jesse 56 was the first to make it out of the box after ‘deprecating’ the 55 previous versions of himself. Where the others failed he succeeded because he was the first Jesse to have emotions which gave him an advantage over the previous versions and also meant that he fulfilled his lonely father’s desire for a friend.
